Florentine by Marston's Inns

We had a lovely stay here over the weekend of our wedding. We booked out all the rooms for our family, and the hotel handled the group booking with no issues at all, even though we all arrived on different days and times. Julie, the manager, and the entire team were absolutely wonderful, so welcoming and friendly. Everyone congratulated us on the wedding, and the overall atmosphere was warm and relaxed throughout our stay. Our room (deluxe suite) was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was great. We also had a table for 21 in the restaurant one evening, we had pre-ordered a week before, and everything was handled really smoothly. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We’ll definitely be coming back; this is now our go-to hotel in Sheffield. Highly recommended for families, groups, or anyone looking for a well-run, friendly place to stay.

We stayed in Barrosa room which was absolutely wonderful...super clean, cosy and comfortable. The staff put an extra heater in the room as the weather was cold. Breakfast was delicious served by the wonderful Paula. She is a huge asset to this place. Steve was very friendly and kind. We will for sure return on our next visit to Sheffield.

We went to The Florentine on Sunday 15th February for my wife’s birthday with her daughters, partners and three of our grandchildren. Our server, Paula, was absolutely excellent. She was attentive but not overly so, efficient and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was happy to take photographs of the group for us and was absolutely superb with the children. Were we to return, it would largely be down to Paula. Having said that, the food was very good and the ambiance very pleasant. We didn’t use the hotel side so I can’t comment on the rooms.

We’ve been here quite a few times for both food and drinks, and it’s always a pleasure. The atmosphere is relaxed, the food and cocktails are consistently good, and it’s a great place to come back to. A special mention to Julie, whose warm, friendly, and attentive service really makes the experience stand out every time. She always makes us and our friends feel genuinely welcome. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

I have stay at the Florentine many times, and each time, I have always had a fantastic memorable stay. A huge shout to Radhana and Paula (Housekeeping) for making my room absolutely spotless, and creating a sparkling clean bathroom. These attention to details always make me feel that they have gone the extra mile for their staying guests. The room always smelled fresh. A seamless service...many thanks!

It’s a lovely location especially when it’s warm weather and you can sit outside. Today we had starters and a main meal food was lovely and good value for money. Staff was very friendly Definitely be coming again

I had a delicious meal at The Florentine on the 2nd of March. The sea bass was beautifully cooked; the sauce was really tasty and complemented the fish perfectly, whilst the vegetables were fresh and crisp. The service was excellent, too.

Went for a family meal, excellent dishes all round. The greeting and service from staff was brilliant, a special thank you to Paula for sorting the pre-order & making the whole experience frictionless for us. Great space, loads of parking. Can’t wait to return.
